Lubanzi Red, 2022

Cherry, clove, juniper berries and ripe orange. Smooth + juicy palate balanced with rustic elements and white pepper for spiciness. A classic Rhone-style red blend with a modern touch - blend of mostly Shiraz with Grenache and Mourvèdre for balance. Lubanzi is named for a wandering dog, who inspired co-founders Charlie Brain & Walker Brown to create this winemaking project in South Africa with a focus on giving back with meaningful social impact (check out their website ... it's pretty significant!).   The wine itself is gorgeous, made by winemaker Trizanne Barnard (who we love) of Trizanne Signature Wines.  The combination of all is magical.
